The Hyundai Santa Cruz Crossover Truck concept could become a reality in the coming years. Translation? The first Hyundai pick-up! And it would be mainly focused on the North-American market. The public acclamation the Santa Cruz recently got in Detroit could make this prototype a reality.
Park Byung, Hyundai’s development director, has mentioned that they’re seriously thinking about taking this model to the production lines. There are still several technical problems that would need to be solved to be able to do it, and that could take time.
Despite being a prototype, the Hyundai Santa Cruz Crossover Truck has very realistic forms,a clean front view and LED lights. The lateral view has a clear impact too with its Michelin wheels and Brembo breaks. In the rear view, the most important thing is that its loading area can be extended to allow you to transport bigger objects, but when it is closed, it is small and easy to handle.
